The reader, Gary Hall and his wife Sue, who met working on the river boats, travelled down from their home at Hubberts Bridge Boston. Guest of honour was John Elliott who is held in great affection by those with whom he worked, and learned their trade from him. James Wallrock also attended, representing his family and recalled his first job driving the Wick Ferry punt at a very tender age.
