Attendance School Times Year R, 1, 4 8.35 - 8.45am 3.00 - 3.10pm Year 2, 3 8.45 - 8.55am 3.10 - 3.20pm Punctuality Please ensure that your child arrives in time for the start of the school day. Lateness is unsettling for the child and inconvenient for the rest of the class. Children who arrive late, must report to the School Office, so that the registers can be updated. Our visitor management system in the school entrance is a fantastic and innovative tool for tracking pupil latecomers and absences, enabling parents to sign their child into school and record the reason for a late arrival and early departure. Absence It is a parent’s responsibility to ensure that their child attends school each day and that they are fit and well. Please telephone the school office before 9.30am, if your child is unable to attend. We do have an answerphone where you can leave a message detailing the child’s name, class and reason for their absence. The school office will contact you by telephone if an explanation isn’t received. Any unexplained absence will be classed as unauthorised. Please make sure that up to date contact details are given to the school office. 20
