Wimborne First School Prospectus

Following the guidance, we have allocated the children to year group bubbles. The children will spend the majority of the time with their class bubble but will be able to play with friends in the year groups at play and lunchtime. The staff can then teach across the Year group and we can assess the children quickly to see where they are all at. The children will also be access the entire curriculum and move around the school in their classes. They will have access to the hall for PE, music room and library which will all be on a rota. If there are any confirmed cases of COVID in the year group, we will liaise with Public health and if we need to close the year group bubble remote learning will be instigated immediately for the children. Staff contacts will be kept to a minimum but the staff can go from bubble to bubble to teach, supply teachers can come back into school and we are looking to reinstate music lessons and other curricular clubs when it is safe to do so. Staff will be contactable by the year group email for general enquiries; this will be checked a couple of times a week, if it is an important message then please direct it straight to the school office.
